Seriously black enamel, quite unusual for the era. A prominent sailing ship graphic on the oven door. Chromed tubular frame undercarriage. All this gives us absolute confidence in promising that when you take Monte home, no one on your block, your hood, heck, not another soul in your entire metropolitan megacity, will have the same stove as you.
All exterior AND interior panels are in fantastic shape. Under the fold down “mother-in-law” cover on the left side reside four cooktop burners with enamel in amazingly great condition. On the right is a surface for food prep, with a thoughtfully placed spice cubby in the backsplash. Monte’s match-lit, thermostat controlled oven has the usual broiler drawer below, with a drop-down front for easy access to the adjustable height tray. Two generous storage drawers round out this Welbilt’s utility. As if all that’s not enough, at night the warm glow of Monte’s elegant surface light pours over the working 60 minute timer, backsplash and cooktop. Surely by now you’ve fallen for this truly unique stove. 39 1/2” W x 28” deep x 38” H to worksurface,
